The story of Native peoples, their TRUE story is just now beginning to be told, not by others this time, but by Natives themselves.
And it is one of beauty and oh, so much pain . . .We have so much to learn from them.

Michelle Latimer is a Toronto based filmmaker, programmer, actor and activist of Métis and Algonquin descent; and Sarain Carson-Fox is an Anishinaabe artist, activist and the host of the series. The RISE series airs on Fridays at 9pm EST.
