He's also worked with some of best in the music industry today like Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Mark Knopfler to name a few. Mike lived in Prague for about eight years. That's where I met him with his Pulling Strings band of musicians who have partnered with The Cultural Compass Institute in our Gift of Music program. Mike plays nearly every stringed instrument, teaches, has a wealth of knowledge about Celtic, Folk, Blues, Country and music history in general. Mike is from Ireland and today you can find not far from Bunratty Castle in the Ring of Kerry. He's got a sweet new abode that is equipped with a garden and new recording studios.

Mike McNulty played live during the Containers to the World Festival in Prague from May 10 - June 1, 2013. The Container Festival is a worldwide festival that uses shipping containers as creative educational spaces to have activities within them to question and highlight what our cities 'contain' and even more importantly, What do we want them to contain? Pulling Strings not only performed live but also hosted music workshops in Folimanka Park on May 12th, 19th & 26th.
